説明
Join us for Embodied Awakening, a transformative healing workshop on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at Menla Retreat and Dewa Spa in Phoenicia, NY. This immersive event brings together two globally recognized teachers—meditation guide and author Cirak and Qigong master Mingtong Gu—to guide you through somatic practices, energetic healing, and deep emotional integration. Whether you're seeking release from stored tension, emotional clarity, or a profound shift in your mind-body connection, this healing workshop event in Phoenicia offers a safe, nurturing container for profound inner work.
The atmosphere is one of gentle invitation and authentic presence. You'll spend the day moving between guided somatic practices and energy work, with moments of stillness and reflection woven throughout. The combination of Cirak's meditative wisdom and Mingtong Gu's ancient Qigong lineage creates a unique synergy—bridging Eastern energy traditions with contemporary somatic psychology. This healing workshop is designed for anyone ready to release what no longer serves them and reconnect with their body's innate wisdom.
What to Expect
Arrive at Menla's serene grounds to settle into the healing space. The morning begins with grounding practices as you're welcomed into community and intention. Cirak opens the session with guided meditation, establishing a clear, spacious awareness—the foundation for the somatic work ahead. You'll gradually move into embodied practices: gentle movement sequences, breathwork, and body-aware exercises designed to activate and release stored emotional and physical tension.
The mid-day transition includes Mingtong Gu's Qigong teachings, which gently circulate energy through your body's meridian system. His approach bridges 40+ years of practice with modern wellness science, making ancient techniques accessible and immediately felt. You'll experience the subtle yet profound effects of energy cultivation—a deep sense of flow and aliveness moving through your body.
The afternoon weaves together somatic integration and reflective practices. Expect periods of stillness, journaling prompts, and small-group sharing circles where emotions and insights can be safely expressed. By day's end, you'll leave with practical tools for continued somatic awareness and emotional integration at home.
